Moving offices can be a big deal, which is why ITS is here to help. We have a very straightforward procedure: go to the ITS homepage, click on Help Desk and then Office Moves. On that page is a link to our USFsupport&answers self-service portal and screen shots to show you how to find the Office Move request form, which we ask that you fill out at least two weeks in advance to give us enough time to arrange for a successful move.
Help Desk Manager Tim Ngo says, “It’s best to be as detailed as possible when you fill out the form. Also, put all of your computer equipment in a box and label it ‘ITS.” If your computer is locked, please let us know this in advance so that we can make sure we are able to unlock it at the time of the move.
The ITS Help Desk is primarily concerned with the scale of the move and how much advance warning we have. Especially if you’re moving between upper and lower campus or moving more than five people at one time. Please contact Facilities if any furniture is involved.
Connect directly to the Office Moves page. ITS wishes you a successful office move!
